This week we were enjoying our new toys: bosu balls.We are constantly adding new stimuli to our workouts. Bosu balls will not make you stronger as kettlebells but they take care of your joints, especially knee and ankle ligaments. Although unstable surface training
(UST) is highly criticised by elite sportsmen as it may not help you get any better in professional sport performance, it has been proven to be effective in helping individuals who have suffered lower body injuries to recover by helping them to improve their balance and proprioception.
I personally believe it is a great toy as the muscles of the whole body have to work together to stabilize the movement.
Many of beach kettlebellers loved it, they found new muscles in their bodies lol
As much as we’re enjoying our new toys, our old toys kettlebells outshine them all)
